Round 21

CLAREMONT’S game against East Perth today is like a mini Grand Final for the Tigers.

With the bye next week, the Tigers would hate to leave their destiny in the hands of another team. Some say if you cannot win enough games yourself you don’t deserve to be there.

South Fremantle should defeat Peel Thunder and will be looking to boost their percentage. The Bulldogs will tackle Swan Districts next week in the last game of the home and away season at Bassendean Oval and the black and whites are always tough to beat on the home turf.

John Northey wins coach of the week honours for the second week in a row but how long can he keep the bulldogs firing?

Subiaco’s season could turn sour if they go into today’s game against Perth under prepared in a bid to secure second spot on the ladder. The Demons have shown steady improvement in the second half of the season, and have an impressive record against the Lions at Subiaco Oval.
