Round 17

IN a weekend of one-sided football East Fremantle finally showed their teeth to record win number two for the season.

Rod Lester-Smith earns coach of the week honours and must go into today’s game against Peel filled with confidence after the Thunder have only kicked a total of six goals in the past two weeks.

Swan Districts copped their second big defeat in two weeks, and the injuries don’t like improving. Several key players are needed to return from injury if they are to make the finals. Time is running out!

The South Fremantle Bulldogs look as though they have lost their bark for season 2003 with another poor performance. Under achievers all year don’t be surprised to see plenty of new faces on and off the field next year.

Subiaco had the week off and it may have given Peter German enough time to find out why the Lions get the wobbles every time they meet West Perth. Both teams will be looking to gain the edge before they meet come finals time.
