Round 7 BEROS BACK IN
FRONT
SWAN Districts
midfielder Shane Beros has arrested the lead back from
East Perth’s
Brent Cowell in the voting for the Football Budget’s prestigious
Player-of-the-Year Award.
Beros is having a
stellar start to the year and the two votes he was awarded in his team’s loss
to West
Perth put him back in the lead by one vote.
The voting system
for this award is the same as last season, with football journalists voting on
a 3-2-1
basis for each game.
The winner of the
award will be deemed the fairest and best player, with any player who has been
suspended by the tribunal during the season ineligible for the award. The
winner will receive a generous prize.
The presentation
of the award will be conducted at an end of season function hosted by Football
Budget publisher Wright Media.
