Round 20 AWARD GOES 'IN
CAMERA'
THE voting for
the Kennards Hire Footballer of the Year Award has gone in camera.
What we can tell
you is that voting is even tighter at the top after Round 20, with several of
the challengers to leader Brent Cowell starting to make their move.
With East Perth,
Swan Districts and Claremont all having byes in the last three weeks of the
home-and-away season, any votes now awarded are critical.
The voting system
for this award is the same as last season, with football journalists voting on
a 3-2-1 basis for each game.
The winner of the
award will be deemed the fairest and best player, with any player who has been
suspended by the tribunal during the season ineligible for the award. The
winner will receive a generous prize.
The presentation
of the award will be conducted at an end of season function hosted by Football
Budget publisher Wright Media.
