Round 14 LUCAS MAKES MOVE
SUBIACO big man
David Lucas has made his move in the Football Budget’s prestigious
Player-of-the-Year Award.
Lucas was judged
the best player on the ground in the Lions win over Peel last weekend and as a
result was given three votes to take him to a total of 10 after 14 rounds.
The voting system
for this award is the same as last season, with football journalists voting on
a 3-2-1
basis for each game.
The winner of the
award will be deemed the fairest and best player, with any player who has been
suspended by the tribunal during the season ineligible for the award. The
winner will receive a generous prize.
The presentation
of the award will be conducted at an end of season function hosted by Football
Budget publisher Wright Media.
