Round 10 COWELL EXTENDS
LEAD
BRENT Cowell has
extended his lead to five votes in the Football Budget’s prestigious
Player-of-the-Year Award.
The
East Perth
midfielder, who is making sure his name is at the forefront for selection in
the State side, helped guide the Royals to another win, this time over Subiaco.
The voting system
for this award is the same as last season, with football journalists voting on
a 3-2-1
basis for each game.
The winner of the
award will be deemed the fairest and best player, with any player who has been
suspended by the tribunal during the season ineligible for the award. The
winner will receive a generous prize.
The presentation
of the award will be conducted at an end of season function hosted by Football
Budget publisher Wright Media.
